Abstract

This study aims to provide information about the Islamic History learning curriculum. The type of research used is library research. The results of the study show that the curriculum is one of the most important aspects in the world of education. The curriculum acts as a guide in the implementation of education in the form of rules, objectives, content, and learning materials as well as the methods used in the learning process. The guidelines for the preparation of the curriculum are the types of schooling and learning plans that are in accordance with the basis of the Republic of Indonesia, one type of school for all people without discrimination so that it is in accordance with social justice, the method used is the working school method, religious teaching is considered without reducing the rights of citizens who have different beliefs, 6 years of compulsory education to be implemented gradually within 10 years, while the stages of Islamic History learning include planning, implementation, and evaluation. Islamic History and Culture Subject as material for the study of important events and products of Islamic civilization which allows for the introduction, appreciation and transformation of values in students or the teachings and spirit of Islam as a blessing for the people of the universe. And the target Users of the History Teacher Handbook are the Education Office, Supervisors, Principals, Teachers, Students, Parents, and other stake holders.
