Selebar District is one of nine districts in Bengkulu City, located in the southern part of the city. With an area of approximately 46.35 km², this district borders directly with Seluma Regency and Central Bengkulu in the north. The problem at the location is the lack of public understanding of the Hajj and Umrah. The purpose of this socialization is to increase public understanding of the Hajj and Umrah in the community. Objectives: Increase public awareness of the importance of thorough preparation before performing the Hajj and Umrah. Provide education to prospective pilgrims about the entire Hajj and Umrah procession. Provide complete and accurate information regarding various aspects of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage including logistics, health, and security. Provide information regarding the digital information system for the Hajj and Umrah. Method: The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method is a step that actively involves all parties in exploring an ongoing action in making changes for the better. Results: The community of RT 51, who initially did not know about the Hajj and Umrah, after conducting socialization became aware of the implementation, preparation, and all matters related to the Hajj and Umrah.

Pendidikan Agama dan Budaya Untuk Anak dan Remaja di TPQ Al-Irsyad Bengkulu

TPQ Al-Irsyad Bengkulu is a non-formal educational institution aimed at providing religious guidance to children and adolescents. However, this TPQ still faces several challenges, including the grouping of students of various ages and abilities into a single learning group, as well as the absence of a fixed and structured learning schedule. To address these challenges, a community service program was implemented using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which involves the community and all elements of the TPQ in four main stages: discovery, dream, design, and destiny. The program focuses on grouping children based on their level of Quran reading ability and establishing a daily learning schedule from Monday to Friday. The learning materials include Quran reading and writing, memorization of short surahs and daily prayers, calligraphy, and practical fiqh practices such as the proper way to perform wudu and prayer. The implementation of the program showed an increase in children's interest and participation in the learning process. The program also included competitions as a form of evaluation and appreciation for the children's achievements. Through these activities, TPQ Al-Irsyad serves not only as a place of learning but also as a platform for spirituality and fostering love for Islamic culture. This program is expected to serve as a model for the development of participatory, enjoyable, and practical religious and cultural education for other TPQs.

Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran Diniyah Melalui Program KKN MBKM di MDTA Syuhada Kota Bengkulu

The science of Al-Qur'an and Tafsir (IAT) plays an important role in shaping children's character and spirituality from an early age, especially through the ability to read the Al-Qur'an. However, based on the results of a national survey and observations at MDTA Syuhada City of Bengkulu, it was found that children's ability to read the Al-Qur'an is still low, characterized by halting reading, inaccurate pronunciation and inappropriate intonation. This use is known as an effective approach in learning to read the Al-Qur'an gradually and systematically. This research aims to describe the efforts of Real Work Lecture (KKN) students in optimizing to improve MDTA students' Al-Qur'an reading skills. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the active involvement of KKN students through mentoring, use of varied methods, and providing motivation has a positive impact on improving the quality of children's reading of the Al-Qur'an. Obstacles faced such as limited time and facilities were overcome with a creative and adaptive approach. These findings contribute to the development of Al-Qur'an learning at MDTA and the implementation of religious-based KKN programs.

The initiative aims to address two key community needs: reducing economic pressure on low-income families and promoting a culture of reuse and mutual aid. Donated clothing is collected, sorted, and sold at low prices through community-organized events. The proceeds are then used to subsidize essential goods in affordable market programs, making staple items accessible to vulnerable populations. This model fosters community participation, economic circulation, and environmental awareness, while also enhancing the impact and sustainability of KKN programs. The initiative demonstrates how social innovation can transform charitable acts into structured economic support systems, ultimately contributing to community resilience and welfare.

Legal socialization is a strategic effort to increase legal awareness in the community, especially among vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. Legal Aid Institutions (LBH) play an important role in this process by providing free legal education and assistance in dealing with legal problems. This study aims to analyze the role of LBH in conducting legal socialization, the methods used, and the challenges faced. This research method is qualitative descriptive with case studies in several LBHs in Indonesia. The results of the study show that LBH plays an active role through counseling, legal training, and community-based advocacy. However, limited resources and minimal community participation are the main challenges. Support from the government and increased capacity of LBH are needed to expand the reach of legal socialization in the community.

Money Politik pada Kepemiluan di Kota Bengkulu (Studi Kasus RT 23, Keluruhan Dusun Besar Kota Bengkulu)

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of money politics in the implementation of local elections, especially in RT 23, Dusun Besar Village, Bengkulu City. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study reveals the forms of money politics practices that occur, the actors involved, and the factors that encourage these practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the practice of money politics is still taking place systematically and structured, especially approaching the voting day. Community economic factors, weak election supervision, and low political literacy are the main causes of the continuation of this practice. Money politics has a negative impact on the quality of local democracy, including in terms of unhealthy political participation and the election of candidates based on financial strength, not competence. This study recommends strengthening political education and stricter supervision by election organizers and supervisors.

This study aims to empower the Qur'anic Education Center (TPQ) of Nurul Ikhlas Mosque in Pagar Dewa, Bengkulu City, to improve the quality of religious education for children. Utilizing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program involved KKN-MBKM university students, mosque administrators, teachers, and parents. The initiative focused on joyful and contextual Qur’anic learning through tartil recitation, short surah memorization, and daily worship practices. The results indicate a significant improvement in children's learning motivation, understanding of Islamic values, and religious character formation. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and low parental involvement, collaborative solutions ensured program effectiveness. This TPQ demonstrates the potential to serve as a participatory and sustainable mosque-based empowerment model in an urban context.

This study discusses the marketing strategies implemented in the ice cream business at SMK Agribisnis Dangau Datuk as an effort to increase income. This business is run by students as part of entrepreneurial practice and agribusiness skills development. In facing tight competition in the food and beverage sector, the implementation of effective marketing strategies is very important to attract consumers and expand market share. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the results of the marketing strategy activities implemented include the use of social media for promotion, packaging design innovation, providing discounts, and improving service quality. The results of the community service show an increase in interest and sales of ice cream products, although there are still obstacles such as limited capital and production facilities. With the strengthening of sustainable marketing strategies, this business has the potential to make a significant contribution to increasing income and developing student entrepreneurship.
