Pengaruh Program Kesehatan dan Kebersihan Terhadap Kualitas Hidup Masyarakat Desa Bukit Peninjauan II
Abstract
Bukit Peninjauan II village is loctaed in Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province, has significant potential to enhance the quality of life for its residents through health and cleanliness programs. This study identifies key issues including low community awareness of the importance of healthy living, inadequate environmental cleanliness, and a lack of education on hygiene and waste management. As part of the Community Service Program (KKN) by the State Islamic University Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, Batch III, Group 95, interventions were carried out including group exercise sessions, environmental cleanliness activities, vitamin supplementation at the posyandu, and education at MI Miftaahussalaam. The results of these activities showed significant positive impacts. The group exercise sessions improved the fitness and health of residents, especially the elderly, and fostered social cohesion. The cleanliness activities successfully created a cleaner environment and reduced the risk of communicable diseases. Vitamin supplementation at the posyandu led to improved bone health among the elderly, and school education increased children's awareness of cleanliness and the use of recycled materials. Moving forward, it is recommended that these programs be sustained and developed into regular activities with increased community involvement and support from local government and related institutions. School education should also be continuously enhanced to build strong environmental awareness from an early age. With ongoing support, Desa Bukit Peninjauan II has the potential to become a successful model for implementing health and cleanliness programs, thereby improving overall community well-being.
