Pemberdayaan TPQ Masjid Nurul Ikhlas Pagar Dewa untuk Meningkatkan Pendidikan Agama Anak
Abstract
This study aims to empower the Qur'anic Education Center (TPQ) of Nurul Ikhlas Mosque in Pagar Dewa, Bengkulu City, to improve the quality of religious education for children. Utilizing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program involved KKN-MBKM university students, mosque administrators, teachers, and parents. The initiative focused on joyful and contextual Qur’anic learning through tartil recitation, short surah memorization, and daily worship practices. The results indicate a significant improvement in children's learning motivation, understanding of Islamic values, and religious character formation. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and low parental involvement, collaborative solutions ensured program effectiveness. This TPQ demonstrates the potential to serve as a participatory and sustainable mosque-based empowerment model in an urban context.
