Syarafal Anam Group's Integrative Da’wah Strategy In Optimizing The Prosocial Behavior Of Adolescents

Abstract

The phenomenon of increasing individualism among the younger generation, lack of moral education and empathy, negative media influence, social pressure, and lack of prosocial role models are factors that contribute to the weakening of social behavior among today's youth. However, a different situation is seen among young people who are active in the Islamic cultural arts of Syarafal Anam in Bengkulu, who exhibit more positive social behavior patterns. This study aims to understand the dynamics of prosocial attitudes among adolescents and local cultural values in the practice of Syarafal Anam's integrative Da’wah. The study uses a qualitative approach with an interpretive paradigm. Data were collected through literature studies, surveys, observations, and in-depth interviews. The results show that Syarafal Anam revives the principle of dakẖwah bil ḥal, which is preaching through concrete actions that foster ukhuwah (brotherhood) and social solidarity. This activity has been proven to have a positive influence on increasing prosocial behavior among adolescents and strengthening the social and religious life of the community. Syarafal Anam also functions as a means of social learning that instills the values of mutual cooperation, shared responsibility, and character building for the younger generation. Thus, the integrative Da’wah strategy through Syarafal Anam contributes significantly to optimizing the formation of prosocial behavior among adolescents in Bengkulu.
