Focus & Scope
An objective of the DAWUH Journal of Guidance, Counseling and Psychology is to promote the wide dissemination of the results of systematic scholarly inquiries into the broad field of Counseling research.
The DAWUH is intended to be the journal for publishing articles reporting the results of research on Guidance, Counseling, and Psychology.
. The DAWUH invites manuscripts in the following areas:
- Da'wah management
- Communication (old and new media, broadcasting, journalism, political communication, virtual/online religion, or all aspects of the development of Islamic communication science)
- Guidance and counselling (psychological intervention, guidance, mental health, coping behaviors, or all aspects of counseling)
- Community development (Regional, rural, and urban development, sustainable development, community empowerment, tourism studies in community development, social work practice, philanthropy studies in community development, or all aspects of community development).
- Da'wah management
- Communication (old and new media, broadcasting, journalism, political communication, virtual/online religion, or all aspects of the development of Islamic communication science)
- Guidance and counselling (psychological intervention, guidance, mental health, coping behaviors, or all aspects of counseling)
- Community development (Regional, rural, and urban development, sustainable development, community empowerment, tourism studies in community development, social work practice, philanthropy studies in community development, or all aspects of community development).
The DAWUH accepts articles on any Counseling and Psychology-related subjects and any research methodology that meets the standards established for publication in the journal. The primary, but not exclusive, audiences are academicians, graduate students, practitioners, and others interested in Counseling and Psychology research.
The primary criterion for publication in DAWUH is the significance of the contribution an article makes to the literature in the Counseling and Psychology area, i.e., the significance of the contribution and the rigor of analysis and presentation of the paper. The acceptance decision is made based on an independent review process that provides critically constructive and prompt evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
