This Allegation of Research Misconduct Policy is made and established by the publisher (Yayasan Darussalam Bengkulu) based on the ethical standards and best practice guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The policy aims to ensure integrity, transparency, and fairness in all editorial and publishing processes of the GHAITSA: Islamic Education Journal.
1. Definition of Research Misconduct
Research misconduct refers to unethical behavior in the conduct, review, or reporting of research, including but not limited to:
Honest errors or differences in interpretation or opinion do not constitute misconduct.
2. Scope and Responsibility
This policy applies to all manuscripts submitted to the GHAITSA: Islamic Education Journal, as well as published articles. The Editorial Board, in collaboration with the publisher, is responsible for responding to all allegations of research misconduct in a fair, confidential, transparent, and timely manner, in accordance with the COPE guidelines.

IJGCS expects full cooperation from research institutions in investigating allegations of misconduct. While IJGCS may conduct preliminary assessments, formal investigations are primarily the responsibility of the author’s affiliated institution.

Yayasan Darussalam Bengkulu, as the publisher of GHAITSA: Islamic Education Journal, is committed to maintaining editorial independence and high ethical publishing standards. Publisher ensures that editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of academic merit and integrity, free from commercial influence. The publisher will support efforts to address misconduct that spans multiple journals or publishers.
