Revenue Source Policy

GHAITSA: Islamic Education Journal operates under an open-access model. The journal is financially supported by Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors upon the acceptance of their manuscripts. No advertisements are placed, and no subscription fees are charged to readers. Additional funding is provided by the publisher, Yayasan Darussalam Bengkulu. Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by any source of revenue.

As an open-access publisher that typically requires upfront APCs, we ensure that articles are made freely available immediately upon publication in GHAITSA: Islamic Education Journal, under an accompanying license. APCs pricing at IJGCS is set per journal and is clearly displayed on the journal’s homepage.

APC pricing at IJGCS is reviewed periodically and may change. We determine APCs based on the following criteria:

  • Journal quality;
  • Manuscript formatting and layout/editing standards;
  • DOI registration for each article;
  • Similarity checking for each submission;
  • Editorial and technical processing of manuscripts;
  • Grammar checking and article proofreading;
  • Market conditions;
  • Other revenue streams associated with the journal (Publisher).
