Abstract

The Bhadrika Mangrove Tourism Park in Bengkulu City is located in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. Precisely on Jl. Jenggalu No.1 Lingkar Barat Gading Cempaka Bengkulu City, which is located in a coastal area has great ecotourism potential, especially its mangrove ecosystem. Even though it has a lot of potential for tourism resources, it has not been further researched regarding the aspects that support this area to be developed into a mangrove tourism object, so the data and information are still general in nature. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to determine the potential and tourist attraction of mangroves in the Bhadrika Mangrove Tourism Park for Bengkulu coastal communities and to calculate the beauty value of this potential so that it can be developed into a tourist area that supports natural preservation and improves the welfare of its people. The research was conducted in July-August 2020, the data collection method was carried out by direct observation in the field (obsevation) and direct interviews with respondents to provide an assessment of the beauty of tourism potential. Data analysis was performed using descriptive methods and scenic beauty estimation. The results showed that the potential and attractiveness of mangrove tourism objects on Jalan Jenggalu, West Lingkar Gading Cempaka, Bengkulu City were mangrove ecosystems, mangrove river flows, river estuaries and Bengkulu long coast. Activities that can be done are photography (photography, including hanging chairs and bridges made of wood with a backdrop of mangrove forest views), tours of the Outbound area, and there is also a playground for children in the form of a hobbit house garden, a fountain, and games. Other children such as plosotan, caves, tree houses, there are prayer room and toilet facilities and if hungry there is also food and drink Indonesian Food such as: Es Kelapa Muda, Es Tea, Satay, and Tongseng. and others. so that the potential and tourist attraction of mangrove Jenggalu, West Ring, Gading Cempaka, Bengkulu City is good enough and has tourism potential that has the potential to boost the economy of the Bengkulu community, especially in the long coastal area of ​​Bengkulu.
