Journal History

Jurnal Pendidikan Tematik (JPT) was established as a scholarly response to the growing need for academic dissemination in the field of education, particularly focusing on thematic and integrative learning approaches. The journal is published by Yayasan Darussalam Bengkulu in collaboration with the Center for Scientific Publications, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, Indonesia.

Since its inception, JPT has been committed to providing an academic forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to publish original research findings, conceptual studies, and reviews related to educational theory and practice. The journal initially focused on issues in primary education and thematic learning, and gradually expanded its scope to include broader educational studies encompassing curriculum development, pedagogy, educational technology, assessment, character education, and educational management.

In line with the development of scholarly publishing standards, JPT has continuously improved its editorial and publication processes. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, applies strict publication ethics, and implements an open access policy to ensure transparency, accessibility, and academic integrity.

To increase the visibility and impact of published articles, JPT has integrated digital publishing standards, including the assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for all articles and indexing in reputable academic databases. The journal is published regularly three times a year, in April, August, and December.

Through continuous quality improvement and adherence to national and international publishing standards, Jurnal Pendidikan Tematik (JPT) aspires to strengthen its role as a credible and sustainable academic journal that contributes to the advancement of educational research at both national and global levels
