Pelaksanaan Layanan Konsultasi Dalam Mengatasi Masalah Belajar Siswa Di Smp Negeri 5 Kota Bengkulu
Consulting services in overcoming student learning problems at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Bengkulu were carried out with the cooperation of homeroom teachers and parents. This study aims to determine the implementation of a consulting service program in dealing with student learning problems. To find out the obstacles faced by guidance and counseling teachers in carrying out consulting services on student personal problems. This approach uses aqualitative approach, and uses data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, parents, and students. The results showed that consulting services at SMP Negeri 5 Bengkulu City in overcoming student learning problems used consulting service techniques. The results showed that consulting services in overcoming learning problems were quite effective, this was due to the existence of a consulting service program specifically designed to address student learning problems in the school. The implementation of consulting services, there are several obstacles encountered by guidance and counseling teachers, including the lack of openness of students to the homeroom teacher and the less sensitivity of the homeroom teacher in understanding and understanding the situation of students and parents who have not been so open to their children's daily activities so that consulting services are not go according to the desired expectations.
