Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru melalui Seminar dan Workshop Scratch sebagai Media Pembelajaran Interaktif di SDN Karang Anyar 01 dan 06, Jakarta Pusat
Abstract
The advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices and increased the demand for teachers to possess adequate digital competencies in designing and implementing interactive learning media. Nevertheless, the integration of digital technology in elementary school classrooms is still constrained by teachers' limited ability to develop digital learning resources. This community service initiative was conducted to strengthen the digital competencies of teachers at SDN Karang Anyar 01 and SDN Karang Anyar 06 through training on the use of Scratch as an interactive learning medium. Fourteen teachers participated in a series of activities consisting of seminars, workshops, hands-on practice, and mentoring sessions. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using pre-tests, post-tests, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The evaluation results revealed that the average participant score increased from 65 in the pre-test to 82.11 in the post-test, reflecting an improvement of 17.11 points (26.32%). In addition, participants expressed positive perceptions of the training materials, instructional delivery, and mentoring activities. The program also enhanced teachers' understanding, practical abilities, and confidence in developing interactive learning media with Scratch that could be adapted to their respective teaching subjects. Overall, the findings indicate that a combination of structured training and continuous mentoring effectively supports teachers in integrating digital learning media into classroom practice. Consequently, Scratch-based training represents an effective professional development strategy for improving teachers' digital competencies while promoting more creative, innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning environments.
