Students' Interest in Physics Education at Indraprasta Pgri University
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the reasons and motivations behind students' interest in enrolling and remaining in the Physics Education major at Indraprasta PGRI University. This study was conducted using a Google Form (questionnaire). The population of this study was 30 students, while the sample size was 18 students who agreed to complete the form. The results showed that 38% of students were interested in Physics Education, 42% were not interested, and 20% were neutral. It can be concluded that more students were not interested in Physics Education and chose to remain in the Physics Education major at Indraprasta PGRI University due to several supporting factors, such as family, friends, lecturers, and others.
