Implementation of Online Learning Models in Improving the Characteristics of Physics Education Study Program Students
Abstract
The application of the learning model is one of the main factors in the learning process. This is because the accu- racy in choosing a learning model will have an impact on student learning success and the achievement of learn- ing objectives. The current condition of the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for the world of education, espe- cially formal education. Dominant learning is not carried out face-to-face so that online learning methods are present to change conventional student learning which is expected to further shape the spirit of student inde- pendence. The success of learning media is not only seen from one technical side but also depends on the char- acteristics of each student. In online learning students are also provided with character education in an effort to create a smart and good citizenship generation. The success of character education implies that learning is not necessarily seen from the perspective of the cognitive realm, but how the balance of cognitive and affective do- mains is what results in realizing students who have intellectual intelligence (hard skills) and more abilities (soft skills).
